CENTER IS ACCEPTING ITEMS FOR ANNUAL SALE

The Adult Care Center of Roanoke Valley is collecting items for its "Granny's Attic Sale & Auction."

The sale will be held May 21 at the Adult Care Liberty Center at 2707 Williamson Road N.E.

Donations of household items, toys, books and furniture are needed. The center asks that donations of adult clothing or mattresses not be made.

Items may be brought during the week to the Liberty Center. For more information, or to arrange pickups for items, call 983-1026.

Adult Care, which also has a center at the Veteran's Affairs Medical Center in Salem, provides day-care services for the elderly.
