CHESAPEAKE CORP. CHAIRMAN OLSSON SET TO RETIRE APRIL 27

Chesapeake Corp., a Richmond-based forest products company with operations of its Chesapeake Packaging Co. division in Roanoke, said Friday that Sture Gordon Olsson has chosen to retire as director and chairman of the board at the conclusion of the annual stockholders' meeting on April 27. The company's directors are expected to to elect Sture Olsson, chairman of the board emeritus, the company said. Olsson is the son of Chesapeake's founder, Elis Olsson.
