The bank was closing Saturday afternoon when a man came in, said he was armed and demanded money, according to a release from the Henry County Sheriff's Office. The man threatened to shoot if he did not get the money.
According to the release, the man got an undetermined amount of money and ran from the bank. The Sheriff's Office believes the suspect crossed Smith River, which is directly behind the bank.
