Garrison Keillor, who last month sold out two nonbroadcast shows at the Roanoke Civic Center, wants to return to air "A Prairie Home Companion" from the Star City of the South.
Michael Feldman is coming to the civic center next month to do his live public-radio show, "Whad 'Ya Know?"
Next, maybe, will Click and Clack, a.k.a. The Tappet Brothers, a.k.a. Tom and Ray Magliozzi, bring "Car Talk" to Roanoke and really get our entertainment engines purring? Wouldn't the jump-start jesters at least consider visiting the civic center's parking lot?
From the many complaints about parking problems there, it should be the ideal setting for Click and Clack's Hate Mail Division and Department of Woe and Intrigue.
