AUCTION WILL BENEFIT SICK TROUTVILLE BOY

An auction of celebrities' motorcycle memorabilia and a motorcycle show will be presented April 16 to benefit Willie Richardson of Troutville.

The 15-month-old boy recently received a bone marrow transplant at Duke University Hospital. He has myelodysplasia, a precursor to leukemia.

Sponsored by the Roanoke Valley Harley Owners, the fundraiser will be on the grounds of the Salem Civic Center. It will include music by the Kings, Truckers Delight and the Rhythm Doctors. The celebrity auction will include items donated and signed by Dwight Yoakam, Travis Tritt, Kyle Petty, Billy Ray Cyrus and many other stars.

Admission to the event is free. Donations will be accepted.

For information, call Howard Semones at 389-0029.
