An incorrect figure was given on Monday's Money Page for the age at which a person can withdraw money from a 401(k) or other retirement plan without paying a 10 percent penalty in addition to taxes. The minimum age to avoid the penalty is 59.

It was incorrectly stated in a Money Page story on March 21 that no discounts are available for buying into mutual funds. A person investing $50,000 or more in one fund can qualify for volume discounts.
