KEILLOR COMING BACK TO ROANOKE
Garrison Keillor and "A Prairie Home Companion" will return to Roanoke for
two shows on Nov. 19 at the Roanoke Civic Center. Keillor gave two sold-out
performances in Roanoke last February. For the upcoming performances, the
first show, at 6 p.m., will be a live, national broadcast; the second show
will not be broadcasted. "A Prairie Home Companion: is heard over 300 public
radio stations. A date for ticket sales has not yet been announced, but
tickets will be available through the civic center box office and TicketMaster
locations.
The Regular Prairie Home Companion cast, including sound-effects wizard Tom
Keith and the regular members of the Broadway Local Theater Co. William Parry
and Sue Scott, will perform in the Roanoke shows.
