COLLEGE CHANCELLOR TO BE INSTALLED

L. Jay Lemons will be installed Oct. 7 as the fifth chancellor of Clinch Valley College since the University of Virginia branch opened in 1954.

He served as interim chancellor for 10 months before his appointment was announced in June. A graduate of Nebraska Wesleyan University, he earned his master's degree from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and his doctorate in higher education from the University of Virginia.

The installation ceremony will be at 1 p.m.
