TODAY'S TOPIC: ISRAEL

What steps would you take to ensure the continued security of Israel?

- Jason Black, Roanoke

COLEMAN: "I fully support the long-standing security assistance programs between the United States and Israel. Further, discussions and agreements between Israel and its neighbors will lower the threat and improve the security of Israel as well."

NORTH: "I believe that the U.S. can best secure the security of Israel by our support of the peace process in the Middle East and working to assure that various groups such as the Palestine Liberation Organization renounce terrorism. I support continuing assistance for Israel."

ROBB: "I have strongly supported providing Israel - our friend, ally and alter-ego in the Middle East - with annual military assistance. In particular, I strongly backed an administration decision earlier this year to allow Israel to buy the U.S. F-15E, the most advanced attack jet ever sold by the U.S. The F-15E will help keep Israel strong and maintain its qualitative military edge throughout the Middle East."
