ANDERSON-SIGMON

Karen Suzanne Sigmon and Alfred Charles Anderson, Jr., were married January 1, 1994, at Thrasher Memorial United Methodist Church. Rev. George Wesley Jones officiated at the candlelight ceremony. The matron of honor was Cathi Gann, sister of the bride. The maid of honor was Claudine Anderson, sister of the groom. Bridesmaids were Suzanne Davis, Katye Fox, and Tammy McMillan. The flower girl was Ginni-Beth Gann. The groom's father, Alfred Anderson, served as best man. Ushers were John Gann, Joe Hatcher, David Lowrey, and Justin Smith. The guestbook was attended by Jennifer Starnes. Photography was provided by Jim Markey.

The bride is the daughter of Powell and Virginia Sigmon, of Troutville. She is a 1990 graduate of Lord Botetourt High School. The groom is the son of Fred and Ann Anderson and grandson of Edna Anderson, all of Vinton. He is a 1990 graduate of William Byrd High School. Both the bride and groom are seniors at Emory and Henry College. After a wedding trip to Florida, the newlyweds will live in Emory, Virginia.
