MENDEZ, Katherine Caldwell, 92, of Fairfax, formerly of Radford, died Monday, January 10, 1994. Surviving are two sons, John P. Mendez, Reston, Joseph C. Mendez, Renton, Wash.; two grandchildren, Michael Mendez, Boulder, Colo., Joel Mendez, Hamden, Ct. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Thursday at the DeVilbiss Funeral Chapel, with the Rev. Will Robbins officiating. Interment will follow in the Caldwell Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the DeVilbiss Funeral Home.
