OBIT-WILLARD, JOSEPH E. (TED)

WILLARD, Joseph E. (Ted), 86, of Christiansburg, died Monday morning January 17, 1994, in a Radford hospital. He was the owner and operator of Willard Monument Company in Christiansburg from 1952 until his retirement in 1974. Surviving are his wife, Virginia W. Willard; a sister, Ruth McNeil, Christiansburg; a sister-in-law, Edna Willard and several nieces and nephews. The funeral will be 1 p.m. Wednesday from the Richardson-Horne Funeral Home Chapel, conducted by the Rev. Ellis Meredith with interment in Sunset Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home anytime Tuesday afternoon and the family will receive friends there from 7-9 Tuesday evening. Arrangements by Richardson-Horne.
