Holly Elizabeth Denton and Donald Eugene Holliday, Jr., were marriedJanuary
22, 1994, at First Baptist Church, Roanoke. Dr. Charles G. Fuller performed
the ceremony. The reception was held at the Sheraton Inn. The maid of honor
was April Goodman, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Tracy Sink, Karla
Hill, Cassidee Nickens, Colette Pannell andJulie Simmerman. Junior bridesmaid
was Lesley Goodman, cousin of the bride, and the flower girl was Tabitha Ball.
The best man was Mark Arrington, friend of the groom. Ushers were Doug Corby,
Dan Foran, Mike Wing, Thad Snyder andBarry Simmerman. Martha Reid attended the
guestbook. The bride is thedaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Berkley R. Goodman and the
late George William Denton. She is a graduate of Emory & Henry College and is
employed by Blue Cross Blue Shield. The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs.
Leon Hall and the late Donald E. Holliday. He is a graduate of Virginia Tech
and is employed by Paul Revere Insurance Company. After awedding trip to
Sanibel Island, Fla., the couple will make their home in Roanoke.
