NEW RIVER FRIENDS TO MEET

An open meeting for the Friends of the New River will be held tonight at 7:30 in the Virginia Museum of Natural History at Virginia Tech, 428 N. Main St. Gordon Love of Radford University's geology department will give an introduction to the geology of the New River.

The meeting is sponsored by the National Committee for the New River. In case of snow, it will be held Feb. 1.
