OBIT LANGE, JOSEPHINE ENGEL

LANGE, Josephine Engel, 97, of Roanoke, died Sunday, January 23, 1994. She was formerly of New York City and the widow of Mort Lange. She was a member of Temple Emmanuel, where she belonged to the Sisterhood. She was retired from the civil service in New York City. Surviving are one sister, Ruth Loeb; two nephews, Robert Engel, Gene Engel; niece, Virginia Kline; cousins, Walter J. Baumoel Jr. and wife, Sue, Roanoke, Aaron Baumoel, Lindsey Baumoel, Abby Baumoel. Graveside services will be conducted at Temple Emmanuel Cemetery, 2 p.m. Wednesday by Rabbi Frank W. Muller. Arrangements by Oakey's South Chapel.
