OBIT ST.CLAIR, MARVIN JEWELL
ST.CLAIR, Marvin Jewell, 74, of Roanoke passed away Saturday, January 22,
1994 at his residence. He was a retired mechanic and was a veteran of WW II
and served in the U.S. Army, being a recipient of the Purple Heart, one Oak
Leaf Cluster and several other service medals. Surviving include a sister and
brother-in-law, Emma S. and J. Sherard Stevens, Vinton; a sister-in-law,
Estelle St. Clair, Vinton; four special nephews, Roger Stevens, Benny Stevens,
Dean St. Clair, and Petie St. Clair; three special nieces, Marie Heddricks,
Judy Williams and Vickie Bowyer; several great-nieces and great-nephews.
Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Thursday, January 27, 1994 from the Lotz
Vinton Chapel with the Rev. Berkley Stevens officiating. Burial to follow in
Jeters Chapel Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial gifts
may be made to the Vinton First Aid Crew or their favorite charity. Friends
may call at Lotz Vinton Chapel.
