OBIT ROBERTSON, EDITH

ROBERTSON, Edith, 90., of Pearisburg, died Sunday, January 23, 1994 at Heritage Hall Nursing Home in Blacksburg, Va. Miss Robertson was born on May 11, 1903 in Thessalia, Va. and was a daughter of the late Aubrey B. and Clara Stone Robertson. Miss Robertson was a lifelong member of the Thessalia United Methodist Church, the Thessalia Homemakers Extension Club, the Wabash Rebecca Lodge #65 and the Giles Senior Citizens Association. She is survived by four sisters, Elva Saville, Blacksburg, Dorothy Stafford, Staffordsville, Gladys Robertson, Thessalia, and Alma Robertson, Thessalia; one niece and eight nephews. Funeral services will be conducted 11 a.m. Wednesday, January 26, 1994 at the Thessalia United Methodist Church with the Rev. Shirley Rogers officiating. Interment will follow at Thessalia Church Cemetery in Thessalia, Va. The family will receive friends at the Givens Funeral Home in Pearisburg, Va. from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday evening.
