Mr. and Mrs. Hugh R. Harnsberger, Sr., formerly of Roanoke, now of Birmingham, Ala., are please to announce the engagement of their daughter, MaryBeth, to Marshall B. Samuelson.

MaryBeth is a graduate of Northside High School, Virginia Western Community College and Roanoke College. She is employed by Kelly Temporary Services in Birmingham, Ala.

Marshall is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Lee Samuelson, formerly of Roanoke, now of Atlanta, Ga. He is a graduate of Salem High School, the University of Georgia, and is employed by West Building Materials, Inc.

A November 1994 wedding is planned.
