OBIT CLINE, DOROTHY LAYMAN
CLINE, Dorothy Layman, 90, of Roanoke, died Saturday, January 29, 1994, at
the Berkshire Health Care Center, Vinton. She was born in Botetourt Co. and
was the daughter of the late George W. Layman and Lillie Moomaw Layman and was
the widow of Thomas Cline. She was retired from McKesson Corporation as an
accountant with 47 years service. She was a graduated of National Business
College and was a member of the Central Church of the Brethren, Roanoke. She
is survived by one sister, Pauline Prickett, Richmond; four nieces, Dorothy
Weeks, Idaho Falls, Id., Mrs. Louis (Martha) Dillon, Rialto, Calif., Mrs.
Cornelius (Virginia) Visser, Troutville, Patricia Prickett Hickin of Richmond;
one nephew, Joseph G. Kinzie Jr. and wife, Dana Belle of Troutville; one
stepdaughter, Sara Dabney of Roanoke; one stepgranddaughter, Cathy Edwards;
three stepgreat-granddchildren. A memorial service will be held at the Central
Church of the Brethren, Roanoke Sunday, February 6, 1994, 1 p.m. with the Rev.
David Yingling officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the
Central Church of the Brethren. Arrangements by Rader Funeral Home,
Troutville.
