OBIT CROUCH, JAMES ODELL
CROUCH, James Odell, 72, of Roanoke, formerly of Huddleston, died Friday,
January 28, 1994. He was retired from Andrews, Pitzer, Butler Oil Company and
was an Air Force veteran of World War II. He was the son of the late James T.
and Osie Wood Crouch. Survivors include his wife, Mildred Hurt Crouch;
daughters and sons-in-law, Yvonne M. Crouch of Charlotte, N.C.; Jeanette C.
and Darrell A. Edwards of Bedford, Lorraine C. and Dennis C. Woodford of
Roanoke; grandchildren, Darrell and Cinnamon Edwards, Chad Woodford and Tamara
W. Holyfield; sister, brother-in-law, and niece, Welford and Catherine C.
Howell and Sonya of Huddleston; six nieces; one nephew. A graveside service
will be at Mountain View Cemetery, Vinton, 11 a.m. Monday with Chaplain Bill
Baker officiating. Friends may call after 11 a.m. Sunday where the family will
receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. at Oakey's Vinton Chapel. Memorials may be
made to the Good Samaritan Hospice at 3835 Electric Road, Suite A, Roanoke,
