OBIT WOODY, CLARENCE MARION

WOODY, Clarence Marion, ("Woody"), 66, of 515 S. Daniels Creek Rd., Collinsville, died Thursday, January 27, 1994 in Memorial Hospital of Martinsville/Henry County. Born September 27, 1927 in Henry, he was a son of the late Jay W. Woody and Clemmie Holley Ball of Martinsville. He was the owner of Woody Motors, Collinsville. Surviving, in addition to his mother, are his wife, Rose P. Sigmon Woody, of the home; two daughters, Marisa W. Haggard, Danielsville, Ga., and Janet Michelle Woody of Martinsville; a son, Clarence Mark Woody of Summerville, Ga.; two grandchildren; a sister, Elaine Green of Cleveland, Ohio; two stepdaughters, Debra Buff of Hickory, N.C. and Pamela Pettrey of Newton, N.C.; two stepsons, Steven M. Sigmon of Roanoke and Donnie W. Sigmon of Hickory, N.C.; half brother, Charles R. Ball Jr. of Atlanta, Ga.; two stepbrothers, Leonard Ball of New Jersey and Virgil Ball of Martinsville. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday at Collins Funeral Chapel, Bassett, with interment in the Holley Family Cemetery. Elder Paul Clark and the Rev. Jimmy Wood will officiate. The family will receive friends Sunday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Monday from 7 to 9 p.m. at Collins Chapel. Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
