OBIT CRAIG, RACHEL JEANETTE
CRAIG, Rachel Jeanette, 83, of Blue Ridge, Va., passed away Monday, January
31, 1994 after a lengthy illness. She was a member of the Blue Ridge Church of
the Brethren and was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Lee Craig. She
is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Betty and Jack Hambrick of New
Jersey; six sons and daughters-in-law, Thomas and Mildred Craig of Troutville,
Ed and Janet Craig, Robert and Opal Craig, all of Blue Ridge, George and JoAnn
Craig of Roanoke, Ronnie and Margaret Craig of Vinton, Mike and Susie Craig of
Roanoke; fourteen grandchildren, Jimmie, Randy, Leslie, Ronnie Jr., Bill,
Jeffrey, Glenn and Peggy Lee Craig, Dale, Alan and Mark Hambrick, Linda
Darnell, Carolyn Payne, Glenda Sue Matthes; two stepgrandchildren, William
Perez and Jason Hurt; and sixteen great-grandchildren. Funeral services will
be held 2 p.m. Friday, February 4, 1994, at the Rader Funeral Home Chapel in
Troutville, Va., with the Rev. Matthew Fike officiating. Interment will follow
in the Mill Creek Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday and
Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
