FINANCIAL-AID WORKSHOPS PLANNED

The New River Community College financial aid office will hold three workshops on how to apply for student aid using the Free Application for Federal Student Aid and the renewal application forms.

Workshops will be held Feb. 8 at 11 a.m., Feb. 16 at 3 p.m. and Feb. 24 at 11 a.m. in Richardson Auditorium on the college's main campus.

Students are encouraged to apply early for financial assistance. The priority dates to submit renewal applications and applications for federal student aid are March 15 for summer session and April 15 for fall semester.
