KELLEIGH A. NEAL of Roanoke has been promoted to senior account executive for the western part of the state for Virginia Business, a month business magazine.

In addition to her two years with the publication, Neal worked for Roanoke College and Roanoke schools. She earned her bachelor's degree in English from Virginia Tech.

\ SIGNET BANK has donated $3,400 to the Roanoke Valley Court-Appointed Special Advocate Program and $1,000 to Roanoke's West End Center for Youth.

Signet's donation to advocate program will help train 30 volunteers appointed by the court on behalf of abused and neglected children. These volunteers determine the best placement for the children in the foster care system. The bank's donation will also help fund the salary of a full-time director to manage the volunteers.

The West End Center, funded entirely by private contributions, provides 150 children with recreational, educational, nutritional and social programs. Signet's contribution will fund an entire year of programs for one participant.

\ A.D. WOODSON of Woodson Pontiac Inc. of Roanoke was recognized as a Pontiac Division Master Dealer at the 1993 Pontiac Masters Business Conference in Puerto Rico.

The program, in its 22nd year, recognizes a select group of dealers who have attained an outstanding level of customer satisfaction, sales and profitability during the past model year.

\ JEFF NORMAN of Moore's Lumber and Building Supplies and BOB FETZER of Building Specialists Inc. won awards from the Roanoke Regional Home Builders Association Inc.

Norman was named Associate of the Year, and Fetzer was named Builder of the Year.

\ J. KEVIN HELMINTOLLER, formerly of Roanoke, has been promoted to second vice president, investor relations, for AFLAC Inc. in Columbus, Ga.

Helmintoller began his career with AFLAC in 1989 and has worked as director of investor relations and as the senior international financial analyst in the company's financial division. Helmintoller holds a bachelor's degree in accounting from Virginia Tech and is a certified public accountant.
