Brad Melton scored 26 points to lead the Highlanders to a Pioneer District victory over the Knights.

Cory Willis added 13 points and nine rebounds for Glenvar (8-4, 5-1).

Isaac Minnis led James River, which committed 32 turnovers, with 17 points. Jason Peery added 17.

NEW CASTLE - The Rockets bolted to a 39-12 halftime lead and turned back the Rams in a Pioneer District game.

Robbie Huffman and Gary Abbott had 20 points apiece for Craig County (3-6, 2-4). Chris Blankenship added 12 points.

Highland (1-7, 0-6) got nine points from T.J. Honaker.
