OBIT CLINGENPEEL, HOLLIS L.

CLINGENPEEL, Hollis L., 69, of Roanoke Co., died Monday, February 7, 1994. Mr. Clingenpeel was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church and was a retired supervisor with the U. S. Postal Service. Surviving are his wife, Gloria Saul Clingenpeel; a daughter and son-in-law, Donna C. and Jim Rodgers, Roanoke Co.; grandchildren, Nathan and Andrea Rodgers; mother, Flossye Holt Clingenpeel, Roanoke; brothers and sister-in-law, Paul F. and Gerry Clingenpeel, Chesapeake, Carl J. Clingenpeel,Roanoke; sisters and brothers-in-law, Marie and Donald Johnston, Betty and Emory Dowdy, Norma and Beverly Worrell, all of Roanoke Co., Joann and Norvin Boone, Botetourt Co.; also numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at Oakey's South Chapel Wednesday, February 9, 1994 at 11 a.m., with the Rev. David R. Tanner officiating. Interment in Sherwood Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be made to Trinity United Methodist Church in his memory. Friends may call after 12 noon Tuesday at Oakey's South Chapel, where the family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m.
