OBIT LAWRENCE, HUBERT LEE

LAWRENCE, Hubert Lee, 91, of Christiansburg, died Sunday, February 6, 1994 in a Galax hospital. He was preceded in death by his wife, Josephine Light Lawrence. Surviving are one daughter, Mary Louise Harris, Meadows of Dan; one son, Howard L. Lawrence, Pompano Beach, Fla.; seven grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and two stepgrandchildren. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday, February 8, 1994 at the Bible Holiness Church, conducted by the Rev. Homer D. Sawyer, with burial in Sunset Cemetery. The body will be placed in the church Tuesday morning, where the family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. Arrangements are being handled by the Richardson-Horne Funeral Home.
