OBIT TAYLOR, JOHN L.

TAYLOR, John L., 83, of Roanoke, died Thursday, February 10, 1994 in a local hospital. He was preceded in death by his wife Frances Hilda French Taylor and a son Bobby Gene Taylor. Surviving are a sister, Mae Taylor Joyce, Fieldale; nephew, James W. Taylor; and four great-nephews. Funeral services will be at Oakey's Roanoke Chapel 1:30 p.m. Monday, February 14, 1994 with the Rev. Emory N. Tarpley officiating. Interment will be in Evergreen Burial Park. The family will receive friends at Oakey's Roanoke Chapel 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday.
