OBIT QUESENBERRY, CONRAD G.

QUESENBERRY, Conrad G., 74, of Hillsville (Sylvatus Community), passed away Saturday, February 12, 1994 at Twin County Community Hospital in Galax. He was a retired retail grocery merchant. He was born in Carroll County on September 20, 1919 to Charlie Jackson and Della Edwards Quesenberry. Surviving are his wife, Rava Worrell Quesenberry; five sons and daughters-in-law, Larry and Judy Quesenberry, John and Ruth Quesenberry, Randy Quesenberry, all of Hillsville, Jack and Linda Quesenberry, Wytheville, Danny and Sharon Quesenberry, Newport News; two sisters, Zella Marshall, Havelock, N.C., Lola Campbell, Wytheville; one brother, Rev. Glynn Quesenberry, Bluefield, W. Va.; five grandchildren; three stepgrandchildren; one great-stepgrandson. Funeral services will be conducted 11 a.m. Monday, February 14, 1994 at the Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel, Hillsville, with the Elder Joe H. McGrady and Elder Jess Higgins officiating. Burial will be in Liberty Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday evening from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home. Military rites will be conducted at the graveside by the Hillsville V. F. W. Post #1115.
