OBIT FLINCHUM, FREEMAN
FLINCHUM, Freeman, ("Boge"), 80, of Hiwassee, passed away Sunday, February
13, 1994. He was retired from Radford Limestone Quarry, with over 40 years
service. Survivors include his wife, Nita S. Flinchum of Hiwassee; one
daughter, Eveline Flinchum, Hiwassee; nine sons, James, Junior, R. D.,
Lynwood, Ronald, Andrew and Marzell, all of Hiwassee, Bobby Flinchum of
Wytheville, and Robert L. Flinchum of Roanoke; one brother, Gordon Flinchum of
Christiansburg; one sister, Bessie Thornton of Pulaski; six grandchildren; and
three great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, February
16, 1994 at the Snowville Baptist Church, with the Rev. Michael Conn
officiating. Interment will follow in the Snowville Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Snowville
Baptist Church. Seaver-Sanders & Mullins Funeral Home in Radford are in charge
of arrangements.
