Abby Dickson scored eight of her game-high 21 points in the first period as the Celtics rolled to victory in the second round of the Blue Ridge Conference tournament.
Roanoke Catholic (15-5) jumped to a 16-8 lead in the first quarter and connected on 13 of 18 foul shots. Dickson also grabbed 11 rebounds, and Elaine Ronquillo scored 10 points for the Celtics.
Julie Fariss led Timberlake (5-14) with 10 points.

Three-pointers were key as the Gaels downed the Raiders in double overtime to advance to the semifinals of the Blue Ridge Conference tournament.
With North Cross (10-8) trailing 26-19 at the beginning of the fourth quarter, point guard Heather Perry scored nine of her season-high 28 points to tie the score at the end of regulation. Perry hit 10 of 13 free throws during the game.
The Raiders were down 41-38 in the first overtime when Lesley Dodson sank a 3-pointer in the waning seconds to send the game into double overtime. Gael Michelle Miller scored the only other three-point goal of the game in the second overtime period and teammate Olivia Naples hit two free throws to seal the win for Holy Cross (9-7).

The Knights' full-court press was too much for the Patriots to handle in a Roanoke Valley District contest.
Leah Daigle scored 14 points to lead Cave Spring (17-2, 9-2), which was coming off a big win Monday night over Pulaski County. The Knights took a 16-2 lead after one quarter and led 35-6 at halftime.
Elisha Jones led Patrick Henry (0-16, 0-11) with 12 points.
