REPORTED EARNINGS

Home Shopping Home Shopping Network Inc., St. Petersburg, Fla.-based television retailer with an order-filing warehouse in Salem, on Wednesday reported fourth-quarter net sales of $296.4 million, up $22.7 million, or 8.3 percent, from $273.8 million in the year-earlier period. The net loss was $1.7 million, or 2 cents per share, compared with $4.3 million, or 5 cents per share, because of the settlement of lawsuits in Florida and Delaware.

1993 net sales fell $21.8 million, or 2 percent, to $1.047 billion from 1992's $1.068 billion. The company reported a net loss of $22.8 million, or 26 cents per share, compared with net earnings of $26.7 million, or 30 cents, in 1992.
