OBIT HALE, JAMES EDWARD
HALE, James Edward, ("Jim"), 68, of Roanoke, died Wednesday, February 16,
1994. He was retired sales manager for Senco Products, Inc. and was a U.S.
Marine Corps. Veteran. Mr. Hale was a member of Williamson Road Lodge #163,
A.F. & A.M. and was a member of Kazim Temple of Shrine-Scottish Rite Bodies.
He was founder and organizer of the Shrine Motor Patrol, where he served as
first commander. Mr. Hale was an avid private pilot and was a member of the
Quiet Birdmen. Surviving are his wife, Doris Scott Hale; one daughter, Lynne
Anne Hale, San Francisco, Calif.; one son, Edward Scott Hale, Burbank, Calif.;
one sister, Bradley H. Shore, Winston-Salem, N.C. Services will be 11:30 a.m.
Friday at Oakey's North Chapel. The Rev. H. Kelly Dampeer and the Rev. Donald
L. Scott will officiate. Interment will follow in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens.
Masonic Rites will be by Williamson Road Lodge #163, A.F. & A.M. Friends may
call at Oakey's North Chapel from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday.
Memorials may be made to Oakland Baptist Church. Arrangements by Oakey's North
Chapel.
