CHRISTIAN COALITION OPPOSES HEALTH PLAN

Charges of socialism, job losses and widespread abortions were heaped on the Clinton health plan Saturday as the Christian Coalition, founded by religious broadcaster Pat Robertson, began a grassroots campaign against the proposal.

The group contends the plan imposes government-dictated controls that would lead to rationing of medical services, subsidized abortions and the loss of 3 million jobs because much of the financing will come from employers.
