WASTE MANAGEMENT SEMINAR IS MARCH 10

The Roanoke Valley Business Recycling Network and the Clean Valley Council are presenting a waste management seminar for businesses in the Roanoke Valley on March 10 at the Airport Sheraton Inn.

The session, which will run from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., will focus on teaching businesses to reduce waste and increase recycling.

Phil Bailey, a representative of the National Recycling Coalition, and David Timberline, a pollution prevention official with the Virginia Department of Environmental Quality, will be the guest speakers.

The seminar costs $30 before March 1 and $35 after that date. Register by sending checks payable to the Clean Valley Council at P.O. Box 523, Roanoke, 24010.
