OBIT PHILLIPS, WERTIE

PHILLIPS, Wertie, 77, of Radford, passed away Saturday, February 26, 1994. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and retired from Lynchburg Foundry. Survivors include, his wife, Eula Gay Phillips of Radford; one son, Cliff Phillips of Dublin; one brother, Robie Phillips of Christiansburg; two sisters, Mrs. Gladys Cox and Mrs. Alleen Quesenbery both of Indian Valley and two grandchildren, Amy Martin and Chad Phillips; one great-grandchild, Meredith Martin. Graveside services will be held Monday, February 28, 1994, 2 p.m. at the West View Cemetery in Radford with the Rev. Dennis Martin officiating. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the Seaver-Sanders & Mullins Funeral Home in Radford.
