OBIT LONG, NELLIE CROWDER

LONG, Nellie Crowder, 71, of Roanoke, passed away Sunday, February 27, 1994, in a local hospital. Mrs. Long was a resident of the Shenandoah Homes and was preceded in death by her husband, Norman L. Long and her son, Norman L. Long Jr. Surviving are son and daughter-in-law, Johnnie and Joan Long, Roanoke; her daughters and son-in-law, Barbara and Wayne Daniel, Atlanta, Ga., Kathleen Sink, Roanoke; sister, Joyce Manning, Roanoke; her grandchildren, Craig and Amy Long, Joshua, Troy, and Jesse Sink, Frankie Bentley. Funeral services will be held at Oakey's North Chapel, Tuesday, March 1, 1994, 11:30 a.m. with R. C. Wilson, Chaplain of Shenandoah Homes officiating. Interment in Sherwood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Oakey's North Chapel.
