Because of a copy editor's error, a photo on page A1 Friday of Fishburn Park Elementary School pupils had the wrong credit. The photo was taken by staff photographer Victor W. Vaughan.

Because incorrect information was given to the newspaper, a story in Thursday's editions about young chess players incorrectly reported that Eric Smales beat Boston Russell, son of actor Kurt Russell.
