DISCOVERWORKS SIGNUPS NOW

DiscoveryWorks will hold a silent auction Saturday, 7:30-9:30 p.m., in the community room of the Norwood Center, 1115 Norwood St. Proceeds will go to the DiscoveryWorks scholarship fund for classes and summer camps. No reservations are required, but a $10 donation is requested at the door.

Prospective bidders may review items from 7:30 until 8, and bidding will run from 8 until 8:45 p.m. A drawing for a week of summer flight camp will take place at 8 p.m.

Some items to be auctioned include a plane ride for three, a hot air balloon ride for two, a complete set of 1991 baseball cards, children's books, gift certificates and other items.
