SYMPHONY CONCERT BROADCAST THURSDAY

The Roanoke Symphony Orchestra's performance of Gustav Mahler's Symphony No. 2 in C minor, played as the final concert of the orchestra's 40th anniversary season last month, will be rebroadcast Thursday at 8 p.m. on WVTF (89.1 FM) public radio.

The orchestra was accompanied by 380 singers from the Roanoke Valley Choral Society, the Roanoke College Choir, the University of Virginia Glee Club, Virginia Tech Concert Choir, James Madison University Chorale and the Washington and Lee University Choir.
