CRASH KILLS AUSTINVILLE WOMAN

An Austinville woman died Thursday afternoon at the scene of a two-car accident.

The state police said Joyce Ann Frazier, 49, was driving south on U.S. 52 in Carroll County when a delivery truck entered the highway from Virginia 990 and struck her car.

The truck's driver, Stephen Crisp, 44, of Radford, was charged with reckless driving and not wearing a seat belt. He was not injured.

The accident remains under investigation, the police said.
