TRACTOR ACCIDENT KILLS CHECK MAN

An 82-year-old Check man died Tuesday, the result of a tractor accident.

A Floyd County Sheriff's Office dispatcher said Lewis N. Hall was killed on his farm off Virginia 653. No other information was released.

A funeral director at Maberry Funeral Home in Floyd said the accident occurred in a barn as Hall was trying to jump-start the tractor.
