MARTIAL-ARTS BENEFIT

James Houston, head martial arts instructor at Genesis Martial Arts in Radford, will attempt to break over 400 boards in one minute in a fund raiser to benefit the March of Dimes.

The event, sponsored by the New River Community College chapter of Phi Beta Lambda, will take place July 4, at 4:00 p.m. in Radford's Bissett Park. The Genesis martial arts team of students will also demonstrate martial arts techniques.
