The county Board of Supervisors has already approved construction of the project for the front lawn. Alliance members agreed to form a committee to decide what to do next.
The Alliance also is in search of a secretary.
The organization re-elected Marlys Flynn as president for the coming year. Debbie Jonas, who has been its secretary, was chosen as vice president. A secretary will be nominated at a special meeting Tuesday at 8:30 a.m. in the Renaissance Restaurant.
Flynn said the Alliance will be the key organization in planning the next Count Pulaski Day, which will be scheduled early in October. An effort will be made to avoid having it this year at the same time as the Historic Newbern Days festivities, also held in Pulaski County.
