LOTTO POT RISES TO $7 MILLION

There was no winner in Wednesday's $5.3 million Lotto jackpot, the Virginia Lottery said.

The numbers were 2, 23, 28, 39, 40 and 42.

Lottery spokeswoman Paula Otto said 47 tickets matched five of six numbers to win $1,739; 2,678 tickets matched four to win $65; and 47,621 tickets matched three for a free play.

Saturday's estimated jackpot is $7 million.
