BODEGA BAY, Calif. - A large and graceful seabird from the Southern Hemisphere has thrown ornithologists into a dither simply by showing up where it was least expected - the California coast.
Sunday's identification of a light-mantled albatross southwest of Bodega Bay is the first reliable sighting of the pterodactyl-sized bird anywhere north of Peru, and it has bird-watchers flocking to boats in hopes of adding the albatross to their ``life lists.''

Limbaugh dropped from orange juice ads
TALLAHASSEE, Fla. - Rush Limbaugh is being squeezed out as Florida orange juice pitchman.
The state's 12-member Citrus Commission said Thursday that it won't renew the talk show host's $1 million contract when it expires in mid-August.
Some state lawmakers, women's rights groups, and Gov. Lawton Chiles, a Democrat, said Limbaugh should not have gotten the contract because of his politically conservative views.
