Blue Rocks starter Bart Evans (7-1) pitched six innings, and Chris Sheehan and Jim Chrisman went the final three.
Salem's only run came in the top of the seventh when Ramon Zapata walked with the bases loaded, scoring Jon Farrell. But Chrisman closed the door and earned his fifth save.
Buccaneers pitcher Jason Abramavicius (3-4) threw well, allowing two Wilmington runs in six innings.
The Blue Rocks opened the scoring in the second when Jason Marshall's double scored Rod Myers. In the third, Johnny Damon scored on Larry Sutton's sacrifice fly to give Wilmington a 2-0 advantage.
Marshall and Andy Stewart each went 3-for-4 for the Blue Rocks.
