BIG ISLAND FAIR

The Sedalia Center in Big Island will hold a judged arts and crafts fair on Oct. 15 at its fourth annual Country Fair.

Entries will be judged and exhibited on that day. Entry deadlines are Oct. 13 and 14 in many categories, including paintings, photographs, crochet or knitted items, needlework, pillows, soft sculpture, basketry and quilts. Children may compete in the Triumphant Trash competition by turning cardboard into something functional, wearable, a game or toy, or a piece of sculpture.
