BODY FOUND IN JAMES

The body of an apparent drowning victim was found Tuesday in the James River in the Springwood community.

The white male was found in the section of the river known as Oxbow, the Botetourt County Sheriff's Office said. It may be that of a man reported missing in the area earlier in the day.

The man was not identified. An autopsy is set for today.
