Because of a copy editor's error, Harold P. Settle was incorrectly identified in a photo caption Wednesday that accompanied a story about a public meeting on the state's pension-fund settlement for federal retirees.

\ Because of a copy editor's error, a photo caption Thursday incorrectly identified the scene of a fatal traffic accident which occurred on U.S. 220 in Roanoke County.

Bedford County Assistant Commonwealth's Attorney Randy Krantz was incorrectly identified Wednesday in a story about a judge's delaying a preliminary hearing for L. Glenn Naff on sexual abuse charges.

\ Quibell Corp. of Roanoke estimates its donations of bottled water to last summer's Mississippi River flood victims aided at least 40,000 people. A story on Wednesday's Business page gave an incorrect figure.
